It was one of those NEARLY perfect days…
The forecast had it just a couple of degrees North of West.. ideal West Kirby conditions. 35mph winds forecast with 50+ gusts. We arrived super early at the Marine Lake but, for me, it was just TOO BROAD. The brave, mad and hungover did make it out and there was some excellent sailing from Antony Todd, Jim Crossley, Farrel O’Shea, Matty York Michael George and Andy Holland. Antony, Jim and Faz all getting close to, if not exceeding 50 knots !
At the end of the day there were 5 sailors getting some massive PB’s. Hats off to Antony Todd, Matty York and Jim Crossley for showing real courage earlier on.
